Bluehost Webhosting Site for more information Bluehost has now added Ruby on Rails and now they support support FASTCGI. They've also announced they will now have 24 hour phone and ticket support Mon-Sat and emergency support on Sunday. Although I personally have found Bluehost to be the best webhost I have ever found to date there are some issues I must report. When they say Unlimited hosting space they still have a limit. They will get very upset with you if you have some sort of script that makes a million cache files for instance. Also don't get over confidant about the unlimited gigs of transfer. That's really good for static html files and images, but be warned it's very easy to get a site knocked down for CPU usage if you have scripted pages. The problem is of course who doesn't have some sort of script running on a site. So if you run scripts make sure they are really good uptodate super efficient scripts if you want to use Bluehost and get really good traffic. Most problems occur with requests to MYSQL databases. Got to make sure the scripts are well written. |
